<br />same was continued on the table ~nd the Clerk instructed to forward copies to each member~of
<br />the Council.

<br /> ~_ The President presented a report of tJaa Hampton Roads Commission a~d asked if the Council
<br />w~ed to endorse the same.
<br /> On motion of Mr. Esleeck, the Man,get was requested to secure copies of the report
<br />and bill before the Legislature concerning same, for each member of the Council, and the
<br />matter was made a special order of business for the next regular meeting of Council.

<br />is hereby anth~zed, and~Inst~acted to increase the Jitney ~ervice, both white and colored,
<br />to a sufficient number to,,take care of tho~se citizens desi~i~g jitney transportation; and. thst
<br />the number'of jitneys and routing of same be left to the discretion of the City Mamager.
