There are 1775 registered voters in the precinct. The proposed <br />precinct, Cradock Middle School, has on-street parking, 6 handicapped parking spaces, <br />50 parking spaces in the school parking lot and has access to public transportation. <br /> <br />· Precinct 25, Port Norfolk Elementary School, is closing as of June 30, 2002 and will <br />no longer be available. There are 1679 registered voters in the precinct. The proposed <br />precinct, John Tyler Elementary School, has on-street parking, 10 handicapped <br />parking spaces, 169 parking spaces in the school parking lot and has access to public <br />transportation. <br /> <br />Financial Impact: <br /> <br />· The financial impact will be minimal, such as notifying voters of the new precinct <br />change. <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Whitehurst, and seconded by Mr. Moody, to adopt the following <br />ordinance, and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />"ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 10 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (1988) BY AMENDING SECTIONS 10-100 AND 10-108 <br />THEREOF PERTAINING TO THE VOTING PLACES FOR PRECINCTS NO. 16 AND <br />25." <br /> <br /> <br />
