<br />OF OLIVE BRANCH CEMETERY.

<br /> ~ s~otion 1, parsgr~ph 5, the second sentence , M~r. Esleeck moved that the words "twenty
<br />yea~s" be changed ~o read "thirty Fears." M~.' Smith moved ~o amend, that the words "twenty
<br />years" be changed ~o read "fifty years." The amendment by ~@. Smith was adopted, and the
<br />said sentence will read as follows: "And when a lot, half lot, or space shall remain without
<br />any interment therein for fifty-years, and the pu~ohase~ or his assignee shall have died or
<br />~$moved from the City, and no relative of them is known ~o reside in the City, the City Council
<br />may give notice thereof once m week for four weeks in a newspaper published in the City; and
<br />if no relativ~ of the purchaser or his aesi~nee appea= within thirty days fr~m the last day
<br />of said publication, then the said lot, or Half lot, or space, ms the cmse m~y be, shall revert
<br />to the City."

<br /> Mr. Brogks.moved that Rule ~ under section Z ~e made to read as follows: "Decorations:
<br />No mrnament or decorations other ~han cut or artificial flowers, shall be placed on any grave,
<br />except that ~n D~coration days aha Memorial days,~estab!ished by law, f!~s may be placed on
<br />~raves, sub~ect to the right of the Keeper to remove the s~me ~fter the expiration of five
<br /> 5) days. Florml designs may be used a~ bu~vlals but shall be removed from lots within ten (10)
<br />days thereafter., The motion was adopte~

<br />On motion, an emergency se0tion was added mo the ordinance.

<br /> Mr. White moved that the ordinance be adopted.

<br />~hen Mr. White ~oved that the ordinmnce be re-considered. The motion was adopted.

<br /> He moved that the wozds "fifty cents" in the fourth line of Section 1, be changed to
<br />read "twenty-~ive cents for each ~p~are foot of ames contained in said lot or section."
<br /> The amendment was adopte~

<br /> Then the ordinance was adopted, as amended, and by the following vote:

<br /> Mr. Esleeck moved that the Clerk be instrucZed to published this ordinance five
<br />in the local papers. The motion was adopted.

<br /> The Traffic Ordinance was taken up, and on motion, same was read and considered section
<br />by section.
<br />
<br /> On motion in Section ~i) Hacking Cars, the words "or ~oth" were added at the end of the
<br />section.

<br /> On motion, under (f), Street not to be used in lieu of garages, etc~, the words "and
<br />the washing of vehicles on the streets is prohibited," were struck out.

<br /> At this point, ~r~ Esteeck asked'~unanimous consent to present a resolution. The permission
<br />was grs~ted~ and Mr. Esleeck p~esented the following resolution; which Was adopted:
