July 1~, 1~22 AOCEPTANCE AND CONTRACT T~he Virginia Railway & Power Company shall agree that within thirty days afte~ informa- tion that the Council is willing to p~ss the preceding ordinances it will definiteAy inform the 0ouncil- of its mccap~nce or non-acceptance of the terms herein proposed and its willing- ness to enter into a formal contract, embodying such terms. If accepted, this contract must be completed and signed within thirty days after notice of acceptance by the Company. Work on the improvement must be started within thirty days and completed within six months after signing of the contract. # On motion, Mr. White was allowed to withdraw ~is resolution concerning jitney routes, which he submitted to Council July llth. On motion of Mr. Omst, the City Manger was authorized ~o establish a jitney route on Crawford and First streets. .Mr. Brooks moved that the City Manager be requested to write various cities using ~rotli- ~usses for information as zo operation and cost of street ~%~s rendered necessary by the operation of trollibus~es.
