<br /> T~he Virginia Railway & Power Company shall agree that within thirty days afte~ informa-
<br />tion that the Council is willing to p~ss the preceding ordinances it will definiteAy inform
<br />the 0ouncil- of its mccap~nce or non-acceptance of the terms herein proposed and its willing-
<br />ness to enter into a formal contract, embodying such terms. If accepted, this contract must
<br />be completed and signed within thirty days after notice of acceptance by the Company. Work
<br />on the improvement must be started within thirty days and completed within six months after
<br />signing of the contract. #
<br /> On motion, Mr. White was allowed to withdraw ~is resolution concerning jitney routes,
<br />which he submitted to Council July llth.
<br /> On motion of Mr. Omst, the City Manger was authorized ~o establish a jitney route on
<br />Crawford and First streets.
<br /> .Mr. Brooks moved that the City Manager be requested to write various cities using ~rotli-
<br />~usses for information as zo operation and cost of street ~%~s rendered necessary by the
<br />operation of trollibus~es. The motion was adopted.
