1;120' May 8~ 1995 Motion by Mr. Robinett, and seconded by Mr. Clemons, to defer consideration of CP-95-03 until the Public Hearing meeting on July 10, 1995, and was adopted by unanimous vote. Motion by Mr. Hawks, and seconded by Mr. Pitts, to go into Executive Session pursuant to provisions of Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia for the following: (1) Consideration of appointments to Boards and Commissions by the City Council, as permitted under Subsection (A) (1}; (2) Consideration of a legal matter involving a proposed real estate development in the central portion of the City, as permitted under Subsection (A) (7); (3) Discussion or consideration of a personnel matter involving all Council appointees, as permitted under Subsection (A} (1). The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. Motion by Mr. Martin, and seconded by Mr. Hawks, pursuant to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia certifying that to the best of the Council member's knowledge during the i~ediately preceding Executive Session of the City Council: (1) Only public business matters lawfully exempted frOm open meeting requirements by the Virginia Freedom~of InfOrmation Act, and (2) Only such public business matters as were identified in the motion by which the Executive Session was convened, were heard, discussed or considered in the meeting by the City Council.
