The minutes of the regular meeting February 13th and speola~ meeting February 19th were read and were approved. tLEPORTS OF CO~ITTEES Finance~ Referred February 13 th Request of the Portsmouth Library Association for an additional appropriation of $600.00 to be used hy the Library for the purchase of books for the Yegr 1923. It is recommended that a special appropriation of $600. be allowed for this purpose. $6o0 sp.appr. Request of the Norfolk and Portsmouth Freight Traffic Co~mission for the City of Portsmouth to contribute $5,000.00 annually towards the.support of the Commission. ~h~of as ~y be. $5,~O.
