White, .l- Also the City Nmnager. The mir~tes of the regula~ meeting' April 2~th were read and were approved. At this point, the President introduced the new member, J. R. Stewart, who had been elected to take the place of R. B. Esleeck, deceased. Heath be retired at'62~ of his Rresent pay, which will be $?3-75 per month, enclosing report of -the Director of Public Welfare on his physical condition. It is recommended that Mr. Heath be retired at $93-75 per month, same to be paid out of appropriation in the Budget for Police Department. On motion of Hr. White, the ordlns~ce was placed on its first reading. The Special Committee on Joint Oity a~d Oounty Office Building reco.mmended that the site for the new City and County Building be as follows: block of land bound~ed by County, Green, King, and Washington streets.
