R.), vote: The following communications were read from the City M~nager: 1st. ~bmitted report of the Portsmouth ~ater Department on coat of operation of s~id Department for the month of July, On me,ion, the r~port was ordered to be filed. 2nd. "In my opinion the City tax ordinance should be modified so as to permit fish ped- dlers to pro-rate their license. Their occupation is a seasOz~l one and it is a hardship to make them pay a license for the full year. On motion, the communication wasraferred to the Finance Committee.
