<br />Jitney Bus AssociatiOn. The motion was aaopted, and Mr. ~athaway spoke for the Association,
<br />aski.ng tha~ the d~ive~vs, of jitney busses be relieved from the payment of license tax in addition
<br />to 5% of the gross receipts. '
<br /> On motion of Mr. Brooks, the matter was referred to the City Attorney, City Manager,
<br />and Transportation Superviso~.

<br /> Er, Brooks moved that the =eguia~ meeting of Council scheduled for-Octobe~ 9th be post-
<br />poned Until October ~lth, for the reason that the cases of the VirginiaRailway & Power Co.
<br />will be heard by the Corporation Commission on October 9th.
