At this time, it is necessary <br />to award a contract for inspection and testing of the Seawall <br />structure to McPherson and Associates, the structural firm <br />selected through the public procurement process. <br /> <br /> The Director of Public Works recommends award of the <br />inspection contract to McPherson and Associates. The cost is <br />summarized as follows: <br /> <br />Inspection [McPherson and Associates) <br />Contract Administration and Contingencies <br /> <br />$18,500 <br />$ 3,279 <br /> <br />TOTAL <br />AVAILABLE FROM PRIOR APPROPRIATIONS <br /> <br /> $21,779 <br />-$16,500 <br /> <br />REQUIRED ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION <br /> <br />$ 5,279 <br /> <br /> I concur with the Director of Public Works and recommend <br />award of the inspection contract to McPherson and Associates <br />and that $5,279 be appropriated for this work.
