<br /> Request of the ~anager that a special appropriation of $~60,20 be allowed for lockers
<br />for the club house at the City Park, on condition that he leave a balance at the end of the
<br />Year to be t~%rned into the General F~nd of at least $~0,~0 in the fee fund; the existing
<br />law requiring all funds received in fees at the City Park to be used in the maintenance of
<br />the greens, ~rounds, etc.
<br /> It is recommended that the request be gran{ed, amd that a special appropriation of
<br />$~60.2~be allowed for the purpose.

<br /> Request of the Clerk of the Civil Court for an increase in salary.
<br /> It is recommended that the salary of the Clerk of the Civil Oourt be increased to
<br />$100.00 per month, beginning July 1st, n~d that a special appropriation, of tDD.O0 be allowed
<br />to cover same for the Balance of the Year.

<br /> Xt is further recommended that the T~easurer be a~ttlorized to pay, out cf i~Ands on
<br />~and from collection of Dog Taxes, bill of J..Shirley Hope, Sta}e G~me Warden, to amount of
<br />$1~.00, for services rendered in destroying ~ tagless dogs · ~2.50 each.

<br /> On m~tion of Mr. Stewart (~E~B.), thereport was adopted, and by the following vote:

<br />City Market is about $~0.00 per mouth and the receipts from the same are about $100.00 per
<br />month, amd as the amount paid ~r water is a large proportion of the operating expemses~ he
<br />asked for am appropriation,of ~6~0.00 to drive wells to obta~nwater for the plant. He also
<br />stated that the water from the we~ls w~$ better for the refrigeration plau~ than the City
<br />water because it was much colder.
<br /> On motion of Mr. Smith, the re.est wa~ referred to the Finance 0ommittee to report
<br />at the special meeting of Council to be held June 30th.
