April 19, 1926 Section 41, Merchants, first paragraph to read as follows: "On every ~license to.a .mer- chant or :msrcantml fLrm ~ther~e shall be paid a so~cifio license tax of $26.00 and an ~ddztio~l tax of 7 per cent on the rental~ value oX the pl&ce of business whets such rental value is less ths~u $1200.00 per annum; where such rental value is $1200.00 s~nd not $1800.00 per annum, the 'additional tax shall be 6 per cent on the a~uu~l rental v~lue of the place of business; and where the rental v~lue is $1800.00 or more per~ annum, the additional tax shall be 5 per cent on the ar~a~i rent~ value of the place of business.~ The £otlowir~ p~r~gr.aph ~dded to Se~cti~on ~.~1; ~A!i persons, firms or oo~porations who purchase milk for distribution shall be classed ~s merchants and sh~ll pay a license taxx as such. ~ Section 43, ~.~usicia~s to read as follows: "All orchestras composed of fo'~ or more sici~s rendering service for hire, $2~.00.'~ "Emch mtmn~rant nu~sician, $2.00 per week or part thereof. Under Section ?~0, General Provisions, the ~ollowing paragraph added: ~5~ penalty be added to all licenses not p~id withi~ thirty days after the s~me m~y~become due. ~ Then on motion of Mr. Brooks, the ordinance was adopted as amended, and by the following vote: Ayes-- Brooks, ~upin, Oast, Smith, Stewart (J.R.), Stewart (R.E.B.), White, 7.
