Jervey, City <br /> Portsmouth, V~ <br /> <br />Deafc Sir:- <br /> ReL Sidewalk- High and Washi~tou Streets <br /> Inasmuch as the 6ity has agreed to raise the sidewalk at the North-West corner of High <br />and Washington Streets, adjacent to my property, in order to relieve the drainage trouble that <br />has always existed there, the thought occurred to me that a suggestion to re-pave the sidewalk <br />with cement instead of using the old brick would be in order and perhaps meet ~ith the City's <br />approval. This, i believe, would be the sensible and most economical thing to do. <br /> If~is necessary for t~e co'&ucil to a~t on this m~t~e~ I would appreciate the favor if you <br />would present same to them at this evenings meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
