<br /> It is recommended that a special appropriation of $~.50 be allowed to make said re-

<br /> Report of Local Board of Equalizatipn correcting assessments of land, timber, lots, build-
<br /> ings, improvements or. machinery and fixtures assessed by Assessors of L~nds in the 0ity
<br /> Portsmouth, V~., in ~ne Tear 1925.
<br /> It is r~commended that the Oity Auditor be authorizes to credit the 0ity 0ollector'
<br /> with $6,003.00, the amount of reliefs made by thc Board of Equalization on 1926 Real Estate
<br /> re,xes; and ~hat the City ~ditor be authorized to charge the City Oo~lector wi~h $5~.75, the
<br /> amount ~dded to the 19~6 Real Estate taxes by the Board of Equatizat~ono

<br />$515.I ~ It is further recommended that a special appropriatio~ of $515.00 be allowed to
<br />sp.a~ppu~chase a Ford coupe for the~Health Department.

<br /> On motion, the notice was ordered to be filed.

<br /> 2nd. "As per your request m~de at the meeting of the Finance Oommittee last night, I have
<br />~his day had price ~ven me on sixteen tables 3' b~ 16~, fifty fo~rtrestles ~$~ high and 30"
<br />long, which ~c~n have made at once by Mr. E~ D. Wmlkins foz $112.0Oo These tables will seat
<br />twenty peOple'to the table, will have a seatmng capacity, should we need it, for three hundred
<br />people.

<br /> I hav~ investigated today and find that we have plenty of space in the storage room at the
<br /> southeas~ 8orner of the building, which room is on the same floor of the auditorium. As afore-
<br /> stated, the h~ll is used frequently for ban~ets and the tables are hauled to and from the
<br /> building and are often marred. I regard these tables as necessaey equipment and recommend that
<br /> they be made, and that a charge of ~5.O0~be made for their use."
