September 2?, 1927 <br /> <br />the other boats have been previously painted), upper deck of the "Rookaway" was re-canvassed, <br />roof of Ohestnum Stree~ Terminal has been re-covered, Chestnut street Terminal was painted. <br />It has been necessa~ry to re~ew gallows frame chains, two of these have been renewed during the <br />month of August. The Ferries Oarpenter force have been engaged in making repairs to the slips. <br />Two bunches of piles have been renewed am Chestnut Street, Berkley, and pil~ug on one of the <br />~unohes of the middle slip in Portsmouth has been re-wired. <br />PERSONNEL ~ring August one engineer has been released a~d another employed, and ~wo painters <br />ha?~ been l~id off.
