March 12, 2002 0.25 At a Called Meeting of the City Council on Tuesday, March 12, 2002, there were present: Mayor James W. Holley III, V!ce Mayer Bernard D. Griffin, Sr., Cameron C. Pitts, P. Ward Robinett, Jr., J. Thomas Benn Illi Charles B. Whitehurst, Sr., City Manager Daniel M. Stuck, City Attorney G. Timothy Oksman. 02 - 68 - The following call for the meeting was read: "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City Council to be held in the City Manager'S Conference Room, 8i01 Crawford Street, 6th floor, 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2002 for the purpose of a Public Work Session. In addition, you may consider a motion to go into a Closed Meeting. By order of the Mayor." 02 - 69 - The following item was discussed in Public Work Session: 1. ClP 2003-2008 Continued - James R. SPacek 02 - 70 - Motion by Mr. Robinett, and seconded by Mr. Griffin, to go into Closed Meeting pursuant to provisions of Section 2.2-3711(A) of the Code of Virginia, to discuss or consider the following: consultation with legal counsel about specific legal matters, as authorized by paragraph 7. The motion was adopted b~y unanimous vote. Motion by Mr. Robinett, and seconded by Mr. Whitehurst, pursuant to Section 2.2-3712(D) of the Code of Virginia, cer[ifying that to the best of the Council Members' knowledge during the immediately preceding Closed Meeting of the City Council: 1. Only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements by the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, and 2. Only such public business matters as were identified in the motion by which the Closed Meeting was convened, were heard, discussed or considered in the meeting by the City Council.
