Three boats have <br />eon operated during the entire day ~ud four boats during the rush periods in the morning <br />~ud evening. <br />MAINTENANCE In addition to the usual maintenance carried on during the month the bottoms <br />of all of bhe bo~ts except the "Rockaway" have been painted. One new pile cluster was built <br />in the Portsmouth main line dock, and repairs were m~de to the fences. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL There has been no change in the personnel d~ring the month of December. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />NORFOLK COUNTY FERRIES, <br /> <br /> Chas. December, 192Y, was received from the Superintendemt of the Ferries. <br /> On motion, the report w~s ordered to be filed. <br /> <br /> Mr. Stewart moved that the City Manager be authorized to go with ~ Committee to Washington <br />for the pu~rpo~e ef having retained clause i~ the 20 year Naval Program allowing the N~vy Yards <br />to bid on ships.
