Ronnie Northam, Sr., 100 Noble Street Dr. Melvin Marriner, 5910 West Norfolk Road Shirley Hines, 1016 Blair Street John Hill, 2906 Mapleton Avenue Dutch Andrews, 131 Jamestown Avenue J. Brewer Moore, 308 Bobby Jone Drive Frank Thompson, 303 Marlboro Road The following spoke in opposition to the proposed bond: Louis Thomas, 131 Florida Avenue - Unfinished Business 95-363 Rezonings: Motion by Mr. Robinett, and seconded by Mr. Pitts, to adopt the following ordinance, approved at the August 7, 1995 Public Hearing meeting, and was adopted by the following vote: 95-363 (a): "ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-95-19". Ayes: Clemons, Griffin, Hawks, Martin, Pitts, Robinett, Webb Nays: None Motion by Mr. Robinett, and seconded by Mr. Hawks, to adopt the following ordinance, approved at the August 7, 1995 Public Hearing Meeting, and was adopted by the following vote: 95-363(b): "ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-95h18. Ayes: Clemons, Griffin, Hawks, Martin, Pitts, Robinett, Webb Nays: None CITY MANAGER'S REPORT - 95-396 Letter from the Acting City Manager recommending adoption of a resolution authorizing $24.75 million in General Obligation Bonds, and a like amount to be issued in Bond Anticipation Notes. "The attached resolution authorizes $24.75 million in general obligation bonds. This funding source, coupled with bond resolutions previously approved by the City Council, puts into place the necessary financing for the construction of the new I. C. Norcom High School. Upon approval of this resolution, the $24.75 million will be added to the existing authorizations for the new I. C. Norcom High School for a total construction cost of approximately $38.7 million~
