I sold this property about fifteen <br />yee~vs ago to ~he Portsmouth Coal and Ice Company and all taxes w~re paid by me up to the time <br />of sale. For some reason the property has continued to be assessed in my name, although I <br />understand it was also ~ssessed to the Portsmouth Coal and Ice Company. I ~m asking you to <br />please relieve me of the taxes assessed in my name against the above property, and I do not <br />wan~ the City Collector to bother my Effingh~a Street property to pay the same. <br /> Very respectfully, <br /> <br /> ~[RS.
