The'following report was re~d from t~e 0ity Building Inspector:
"June lC, 1930.
Mr. ~ra~k O. Hanrahan,
City Manager,
Oity.

Des~v Sir:--
In oomplia~ce with your request, I have checked the p~s ~nd specifications
for the proposed toilet building for Brighton Colored School, and give you my opinion as to
the construction of the building and coat of same.
t h~ve examined th~ plans and read the specifications carefully. In my opinion
the building is well planned and the material specified is of a good substantial grade
not too elaborate, either in quality of material or in number of plumbing fixt~ures.
Superintendent of Schools ~. A.~Hunt~i~fg.rm~ m~ ~h~ thor? are~3~3_~_u~_~ ~o~led
at the Brighton School this term. T.he. pxan s~ws ~ ~e ~or ~ne ~xr~s a~ ,_o~_~
u~inats for the boys, aver~ging 22 5/S pupi~ezor p~pn c~os~ an~_~u~na~, xou ~u ,~
there ~e not too many fixtures fo= the numoer each nas mo acoomo~a~ . ~
The fuel roo~ at the end of the toilet room and the Open shed leading from the
school building to the toilet building s~re well worth the money they will cost.
As to the cost of the buildihg, I will say that the bids received are very
rea~onsJole for the amount of work that is to be-done and I do not think you will save any
money by adver~isimgfoz new bids. I am informed t~a~ plumbing supplies have advanced 10%
within the last ~O days and'are liable to take auothe~ ~dvanoe in the nea~ future.

~OLLI~S very tr~ly~
