Bl~lock has been promoted to the position of P~trolman on the Police Force to fill vacamcy c~used by the resignation of W. B. Murdem, the appointment to take effect at such time as he may qualify. Gentlemen:- In reference to the 'following tax matters which were referred to me, I beg to report the following: (I) Request of the Cit~ Collector that A. T. O~ulpepper be refunded $2.98 whlc~ was paid in error for personsl~roper~y, $i.~5 for 1929, end $1.5~ for 1928. I find that thms was a doub3 that Mr. Oulpepper had previously paid one of the assessments. There- fore, shoUld be refunde~ to him. years Petition of the Trastees of the First Baptist Church of Tx~un to be relieved of no=t~hwest corner of Nenley Street and Deep Greek Boulevard for the ~, and 1930.
