Stew- <br /> <br /> ferry books for September,1931, <br /> <br /> The following ordinance, passed on its first reading October i3th, and laid on <br />the table until this meeting, was taken uo and read: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance Authorizing the issuance of Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dol- <br />lars of Bonds of the Oity of Portsmouth. Virginia, for the purpose of installing sewers <br />and paving streets and other thoroughfares and building a new brmdge oonnecfing streets in <br />said city, making provision for the form of said bonds and for the paymen~ thereof." <br /> <br /> On motion, the Council took a recess and upon re-convening, adjourned to meet <br />Thursday, October 29th, 1931, at 8:00 P.M. <br /> <br /> <br />
