This bill <br />would require that no action be maintain~dag~inst any city or town for any injury to any <br />person or p~operty alleged to have been sustained by the negligence of the city or town or <br />any officer, agent, or employee thereof, unless a w~itten statement by the claiment or his <br />attorney, agent or representative of the nature of the claim and the time and place of in- <br />jury, shall have been filed with the city attorney or t~v n attorne~y or with the ~yor or <br />chief executive within sixty days after such cause of the action shall have accrued, except <br />whe~ t~e claimant is an infant or non-octopus mentis, or the _nvolvem party dies within <br />sixty da3~s, such stateme~% may be filed within laC days.
