R- Stewart - 7- ' <br />Also the Czty Manager. ~ <br /> <br /> Minutes of regular meeting held January 12th were read and approved. <br /> <br /> The following communications from the City Manager were read: <br /> <br /> 1st - Notifying the 0ounoil of the death of O.E. B~uuting, retired Fireman, <br />January 2~rd, 1932. Ordered filed. <br /> <br />on <br /> <br /> 2nd - Stated that suit had been filed against him for $5,000.00 by Mrs. Bonoer <br />and requested Council to furnish attorney to defend him. <br /> <br />N~nager and <br /> <br />Motion of '~r. Hutohins that we oppome said bill and ask our <br />representatives in Legialatu~e to opposg s~me, was adopted and the several other matters <br />were referred to the City-~M~nager and City Attorney to present a digest of s~me. <br /> <br /> The City ~ttorney presented the followir~ ordinance: <br /> <br /> "AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING AND COLLECTING TAXES ON REAL ESTATE, TANGIBLE <br /> P~qSONAL PROPERTY AND MACHINEF.
