March 28th, 1933.
plumbers.that.are working in the Git ·
to keep two or three olumbers v~ -~A~a~? obtained l~cense. It is because there is nothing
.... ~ up~za~ng separately under one license.
If you will look at the records, you will see that plumbers who'used to have li-
cense have not obtained them in the last few Years.
Naturally we can not make a living profit and keeo our overhead expense under eon-
trol with this competition.
All that I ~ asking for is protection from such as this.
I feel and nopethat mY suggestion might help to solve this problem, for the good
of the Treamury~ the people and the plumbers.
It is not my~desire to impose any expense on the public through inspection fees.
Nor do I desire to deprive the 0ity of any revenues, that it is now ~etting from
the few plumbers that are loyal.
I feel that a license of $50.00 a year and no inspection fees, require a permit
to be issued before a job is etar~ed to a registered plum~er~ on any job that is necessary
te be inspected at a cost sf One Dollar, WoUld prove satisfactory.
I know then that everY plumber will then apply for l~cense and it not only Will
protect us, but will be of benefit tc the Oity.
I do hope that we will receive justice in some way..

Yours t~u!y,

if/

Etlsworth Plumbing

O.O.
