<br /> "I am inclosing tax statement for property at 1021-23 Oounty Street, on which I
<br />am respectfully asking that your Honorahle Body reduce the aSSessment and relieve m~ from a
<br />portion of said taxes.
<br /> The building on this land w~s not at any time for which the taxes are charged
<br />worth the amount of its assessment. It was delapidated to much ~u extent prior to 192~, that
<br />theCity about that year ordered the building torn down, which was done; se that since about
<br />1929, there has been no building on the property.
<br /> At present, there is assessed a let at $400. and building at $1,O00., although
<br />there is no building on the property,
<br /> I am, therefore, asking for a reduction of taxes on account of the assessment
