Alden CaSt, and Oity Manager. <br /> <br />Minutes of regular and special meetings held March 27th, were read and approved. <br /> <br />The following communication from the City Manag%r was read: <br /> <br /> 1st - "The Master Plumbers Association of Portsmouth has r~qaested that we en- <br />force section $2 of the ordinance adopted June 17th, 1920 regulating the i~stallation of plumb- <br />ing, etc., which section prgvides for a Beard for the examination of plumbers. <br /> I understand this part of the ordinance has not been enforced for several <br />years, but in view o~ the request of the Master Plumbers Association, your concurrence is re- <br />quested in the enfordement of that part of the ordinance providing for an Examining Board for <br />plumbers, with the understanding that all plumbers who have not already been examine~ By the <br />Board will be examined before they receive their 1934 license." <br /> <br /> Motion o~ Mr. Mayo that we concur in the Manager's recommemiation aD~l~ that he <br />be authorized to appoint two members of said Board, was adopted. <br /> <br /> 2nd- The Manager stated that he had a request from the.
