<br /> On motion of ~. Hutchins, nominations were closed, and vote being taken, Mrs. Oora

<br /> The general Gommittee on Fleet Reception has suggested that we have two dances
<br />this summer ~or the enlisted men of the Fl~eet.
<br /> The first dance to be held shortly after June 20th, and the latter when the Fleet
<br />assembles here the last part of August. I am making a request for a do~tion of $~0.00 to
<br />cover cost of City auditorium and kitchen, there will be no coo~ing.

<br />l, 1933, and my understanding is that in order to be liable for 1~3 ta~es I would have had
<br />to have been a resident o£ Portsmouth prior to February let, 1933. I_had to pay these taxes
<br />inasmuch as they were assessed against me before I could get my Gi~y License ooveri~ my au-
<br />tomobile.
