Lenard
Ross to propagate his seed and plants that were sent him from the Arnold Arboretum in Boston,
Members o~ the Olub visited the farm and have seen his seed and seedlings, which a=$ a marve-
lous collection, one that could not be bought when cultivated for a thousand dollars or more.
Unless he is given protection he can't propagate the seed and broad leaf evergreen out the~e.
This collection is one the City should feel proud to have. Of course, at this
stage of the game, it can't be appreciated, but if given the prope~ facilities and with one as
capable as Mr. Ross is to raise these plants, you will have many rare plants for your parks
and trees of the C~y.
Kindly give this matter your immediate attention as now is the time to till the
soil.
Sincerely,

MEMBERS OF THE W~UST PARK VIEW
GARDEN OLUB

(Mrs. R.)
