<br /> Privilege of the floor was granted Mr. Carpenter of the Carpenter Construction
<br />Compsny, who stated that hie firm did a good deal of extra work in the-paving of High Street,
<br />for which they had not been paid; the amo~3~nt of their pill being $?~636.98 and interest, but
<br />in spirit of fairness, they would compromise by acceptzng the amo~u~t of ~,500.00 as ~greed
<br />to by the C~ty Manager.
