Jordan & Company, for auditing the ferry books and accounts, was <br />received and ordered filed. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Hutehins, the regular meeting of the. Council, on December 8th, <br />will be open to the public, for consideration of .the 193~ budget. <br /> <br /> A delegation from the School Board requested a meeting with the Counoil,.in am <br />executiv~ session. <br /> <br />Mo~ion of Mr. Hutehins to concur, was adopted. <br /> <br /> The Chair declared a retees until 9i00 P.M., at which hour the Council convened <br />into an executive session, With a committee from the school board. <br /> <br /> Mr. Witlett of the School Board stated that the Board had selected~a site for <br />the colored high school (subject to the approval cf the Council) on Chestnut, South and Bart <br />Sts., running west to 90 feet east of Pine St., and that the cost would be $11,500.00,or <br />$2,500~00 more than the estimated cost. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Hutchins to ~Dprove the site, a~d to place an appropriation of <br />$2,500.00 en its first reading, was adopted. <br /> <br /> On motion adJourned. <br /> <br />Approved <br /> <br />Clerk. <br /> <br /> <br />
