The purchase ~f any portion of this site can noZ be <br />compleZed until the money is actually paid. The site selected is encumbered with a large <br />brick building, which must be removed before the building can be begun. The removal of this <br />building should require several weeks, and its removal, in the oPinion of the Board, should <br />be begun on December l~th. McGavock spoke in favor of the' restoration of the <br />6% cut in ~he teachers~ salaries. Mr. Curtis Hand, Mr. S.H. Hall ~d Mr. H.S. Har~ spoke in <br />favor of ~he pet.i~iOn of ~he firemen, in reference ~o increase In pay, ~d better working con- <br />di~ions. Messrs. Harry L~d an~ L.H.
