<br />called my attention to the fact that he ~had received notice that pipe would advance ten to
<br />· fifteen per cent, right away, and by Buying yesterday, what we need~ for the Ware? Department,
<br /> for immediate use ~ud some time to come, we could save between two and three hundred dollars.

<br /> Mr, Hoffman spoke against the Richmond Greyhound Bus Company acquiring con
<br />trol of the Peninsula Transit Corporation, and offered the following resolution:

<br />VIRGINIA, IN OPPOSITION TO CREATION OF BUS MONOPOLY
<br />BETWEEN THE CITIES AND COUNTIES OF HAMPTON ROADS AREA
<br /> TO AND FROM THE NORTH AND WEST.
