Ordinance to appropriate $25,000 from the Capital <br />Improvements Fund toward the purchase of two auxiliary <br />emergency generators. <br /> <br /> b. Motion to award the contract to Western Branch <br />Diesel. <br /> <br /> "The 1994-95 Capital Improvement Program authorized <br />$25,000 for the purchase of a new auxiliary emergency <br />generator. <br /> <br /> Based on very favorable bids, the City is now in the <br />position to purchase two emergency generators for a total of <br />$31,000. There is presently $6,000 remaining from prior <br />appropriations to fund the additional cost. The two <br />generators would be utilized at the old Churchland Fire <br />Station and the Cradock Fire Station. <br /> <br /> The Fire Chief recommends appropriation of the $25,000 <br />and purchase of the two emergency generators.
