<br /> priation for the new colored high school, of $800. for the
<br /> site and $2000. for equipment, as it will cost approximately
<br /> $800~ to complete the purchase of the land, and $2000. addi-
<br /> tional to buy necessary equipment. The original estimate
<br /> called for $10,O00.00 for equipment, b~t since the cost of
<br /> the building was greater than the estimaze it was necessary
<br /> to use patter the allotment for equipment for the erectio~
<br /> of the building; leaving about $7hOO. for equipment. The
<br /> needed equipment will cost approximately $10,000. after due
<br /> allowance for furniture on hand, and also for furnithre made
<br /> and to be made by the Manual Training Department.'
