tst - "At your meeting held on June 8th, 1937, you referred to me a reques$ of
Mr. O.F. Parker, 201~ North Street, te be refunded $~.86 for personal taxes for 1936 paid in
erst. I have satisfied myself that the $2.86 should be refunded Mr° Parker upon surrender
by him of the tax receipt, amd I recommend that this be done.
As to the request of Mr. Vance C. White, that he be relieved of personal
taxes for 193l, 1932 and 1933~ I have ne evidence as to the ownership of the property other
than the statement of Mr. White. However, after viewing the tax return an~ such information
as I have been able to ascertain in connection with the matter I believe Mr. White should
be relieved of $2.12 for 1931, $1.99 for 1932, and $t.98 for 1933, and that he should be no-
tified immediately in order that he may pay taxes for 193~, 1935 amd 1936 as he stated he is
anxious to do in his letter.
~ours very respectfully,

R. ~.Barc!ay,
