<br /> The Mansger stated that 2he next meeting will be on a legs~ holiday; it was
<br />agreed not to meet on that date.

<br />The following comm%~ioation from the City Attorney was read:
<br />
<br /> "At your last meeting, you referred to me the reeuest of R. B. Crocker for
<br />the relief of certain t~xes. I find that Re B. Crocke~ is assessed with 1/~ of lot ~ plat
<br />of'the Bishop Tract on the west side of Et. Vernon Ave. From 1919 through 1925, it was as
<br />sessed as a vacant lot for $150.O0. The assessors of 1925 raised ~he value of the lot to
<br />$250.00 and assessed a building on it for $700.00. Theassessors of 1930 reduced the lot to
<br />$150.00 and left the building off. Prom the best information that I have been able to obtain
<br />· there has never been any building on the land. The 1/2 lot is only 15 feet wide, ~ud it ap -
<br />pears that the building was erroneously assessed from 1926 through 1930. No taxes have been
<br />paid since 19~0~ therefore R. B. Crocker should be relieved from the followLug taxes:
