I-do not own any personal property a~d only reside& at the above mentioned <br />location a short period of the time the taxes were assessed against me - cart of which time <br />I resided at Deep Creek. <br /> Ir~smuch as I did not own amjthing taxable, I will appreciate if you will <br />kindly relieve me of those erron-eously chs~gedo <br /> <br />Yours <br /> <br />J. Brown." <br /> <br /> The following letter was read, and on motion of Mr. Fox, referred to the <br />City Attorney: <br /> <br /> ~I have recently been informed by the City C6~lector_ that m~.personal <br /> proper- <br />ty taxes are delinquent and that said delinquency dates back t~the yea~ 193~, that accrued <br />taxes now amount to $12o09. <br /> The purpose of this letter is to inform you that I have no taxs2ole personal <br />property and have had none such since the death of my husband five years., ago. I reside with <br />n4v brother in law, Mr. A. B. Carry, at 1308 Leckie S~., and have resided with him since the <br />death of my husbs~d. Therefore, I respectfully request t¥~t the 6o-maeil take s~propriate ac- <br />tion to correct this error. <br /> <br />Yours very truly, <br /> <br />Elisabeth 0o~,vine. ~~ <br /> <br />City Attorney: <br /> <br />The following letter was read, and on motion of Mr. Fox, referred to the <br /> <br /> eI respectfully request that ! be relieved of all personal property assessed <br />against me for the years 1~2~-28-30 and 31. <br /> This property was the property of my father s~d my step-mother during those <br />years and did not come into my possession until the year of 1933. <br /> <br />Yours ve~ sincerely~ <br /> <br />Miss Essie L.
