<br />on the sale of wihe and beer on Sunday.

<br />spoke in favor of a ban, 8md H.P. Berna andDavid T. Gallo of Norfolk~ opposed a ban.

<br />The following communication from the City Attorney was read:

<br /> "In reference to the request of Mr. S.P. Oast for a refund of ~s~es, t find
<br />that the facts stated in Mr. Oast's letter are true. He and Mr. W.G. Parker conveyed the
<br />land in question to She City in 1929, The land was omitted from the Land Book in 1930 by the
<br />Commissioner of the Revenue. The assessors of 193O, however, assessed the six lots to Mr.
<br />Oast and from 1931 to date it has continued on the land book. Mr. Oast is entitled to a
<br />fund in the sum of .~2.~2 for taxes erroneously paid %con the land assessed as lots numbers
<br />2,3,$,5,6 and l0 and jib ~ S.S. Clifford Stj and E.$. D~y St., as follows:

<br />Motion of Mr. Hutchins to concur in the Attorney's recommendation, was adopted.

<br /> Bill of Mrs. J.H. Pettit for $6.00 for chickens, destroyed by dogs~ was pre -
<br />sented, and on motion of Mr. Warren, the Treasurer was authorized to pay same from funds in
<br />her hands~f~om collection of Dog Taxes.
