AS,.the City of Portsmouth is the owner of a vacant lot <br />on the north side of Harrison Street, between Second and Moore <br />Streets, and a house and lot at the northeast corner of Sixth <br />and Edwards Streets, which ars not needed for the use and our- <br />poses of the City~ and it is desirable that the p~operty be sold, <br />NOW, THEREFOBE, be it resolved that the City Manager of the City <br />of Portsmcuth be and he is hereby authorized to offer for sale at <br />public auction in f~ont of the Court House in the City aforesaid <br />real estate after first giving notice of ~he time, place, and <br />terms of sale.by advertisement for ten days in the Portsmouth Star, <br />a daily newspaper published in this City.~l <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Hutchins, the resolution was adoDted,.a~d by the following <br /> <br />Ayes. <br /> <br />Nays~ <br /> <br />Leigh, Fox~ G~imes~ Hall, Howard, <br />Warren, Wilson <br />None <br /> <br />Hutehina, Lawrence, <br /> <br /> The committee appointed at <br />the death of Mr. Louis A. Watson, Plumbing <br />motion of Mr. Howard, adopted: <br /> <br />last meeting to prepare resolutions of respect on <br />Inspector, presented the following, which was, on <br /> <br />~WHEPLEAS~ an ail-wiss Providence has removed from ~mong us our <br />friend and fellow-citizen, Louis A.
