Howard to ~propriate $3?,?65. oo for said purpose, was adopted, <br />and by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Fox, Grimes, Hall, Howard, Hutchins, Lawrence, Warren, Wilson <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> The following request of the Manager for an appropriation to purchase six <br />motor cars, laid on table at last meeting, was taken up: <br /> <br /> "We now have six motor oars from six to nine years old, and several motorcy- <br />cles needing replacement. One car andone motorcycle are now beyond reasonable repair and laid <br />up. <br /> All of this equipment will, of necessity, have to be replaced in next year' s <br />budget, and I firmly believe that equipment will b e scarce and prices high at that time. <br /> I respectfully recommend t~hat the following appropriation be made for motor <br />cars and motorcycles: <br /> <br />Fire Departmen~ <br />License Inspector & Sealer <br />of Weights & Measures ~5.OO <br /> <br /> <br />
