I examined the law providing for retirement of policemen and fire-
men and found that it does not provide for any benefits beyond the pensioner's life time, An
amendment to this law provides for benefits to widows only in cases where a oo_~cem~n or fire-
man is killed or dies from injuries received in line of duty,~
On motion ordered filed°

6th - "Under the terms of a right of way ~greement with the Barlow Estate
which allowed us to run one of our sewerage suction lines through the Barlow property, we
agreed to allow buildings erected on the Barlow Farm to use sanitary Sewers entering this pro-
perty from the City streets.
The Public Buildings Administration h~s erected a housing project on
this site, and in lieu of using the sewers entering the property~ I prevailed on th~m to con-
struct an additional suction well and take care of their sewerage through the above-mentioned
suction main ~nich passes through their prop.erty. All of this work was done without any ex ~
penes to the City and the C~vsrnment is to pay us two Cents per thousand gallons of sewerage
psssing through our suction main, based on the amount of water used by the project and noted
on our monthly bills for water,
