It was~omitted from the Land Books in 1925 but the as- <br />sessors in 1930 evidently calling it omitted.prope~ty placed it back on the Land. Books in the <br />name of WoH. S~tallings.~The church trustees sold the property t~ G.B. Kittrell in !940 and in <br />1941 it was properly ~ssessed to Mr. Kittrell." [ <br /> On motion of Er. Hutohins, the Attorney's recommendation was concurred in <br /> Report.of the Accounting Department for the month of October was received And <br /> <br />ordered filed. <br /> <br /> The following letter was read: <br /> <br /> "I am hereby notifying you of'a-vae~ncy on the Schoo~ Board in the Second Dis1 <br />trier, caused by the death of Er. Kenneth O. Howell, on Tuesday, November 18th. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />H. A. Hunt, S~ot. of Schools." <br /> <br /> Notion .of Er. Wilson to go into the election of a member of the School Board <br />~o fill said vacancy, was adopted. <br /> Er. ~ilson nominated Cecil E. Jones to fill ti~e vacs~uc~ on School Board caus- <br />ed by the death of Eenneth O. Howell. There being no further nominations, ~ud ballot being <br />taken, Mr. Jones was elected, and by the followiBg vote: <br /> <br /> For ~r. Jones ~ Fox, Grimes, Hall, Howard, Hutohins, Lawrence, <br /> Warren, Wilson <br /> Against Mr. Jones - None <br /> <br /> Bill of J. Shirley Hope, State Game Warden, for destroying forty-two tagless <br />dogs at $2.50 each, totaling $105.00, was presented, and on motion of Er. Hutchins, the Treas- <br />urer was authorized to pay same from funds in her handsfrom collection of Dog Taxes. <br /> The following, letter from the City Collector was read: <br /> "Attached is a list of taxpayers who overpaid on the pre-payment plan and are <br />due refunds as shown on list, <br /> Please authorize the refunds." <br /> <br /> Motion of Er. Hutchins to appropriate $218.2~ for said refund, <br /> same is approved by the City Attorney, was adopted, and by the fo!lowing vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Fox, <br />Nays · None <br /> <br />Grimes, Hall, Howard, Lawrence, <br /> <br /> provided the <br />Hutchins~ Warren, Wilson <br /> <br />On mo~ion adjourned, <br /> <br />City Clerk. <br /> <br />~pproved - <br /> <br /> Acting President~ <br /> <br /> <br />
