<br /> 6th - ~Attached is copy of an agreement with George D. Rues, authorizing
<br />him to connect the trailer c~np on King's Highway, just south of the City Limits, with the
<br />City sewerage system. The Naval authorities are requiring this to be done ~ud are authorizing
<br />the connection with their mains.
<br /> The agreement requires Mr. Russ to pay for the services at the
<br />same rate granted to the Government.
<br /> I recommend its approval.~

<br />regard to the Sewing project.
<br /> I have received a contract to be signed by the City as co-sponsor.

<br />affix the seal of the Oity, if~neceesary."

<br /> Motion of Mr. Wilson ~ concur in the M8mager~s recommendation and that

<br /> 8th - "A check was made on last Saturday of the schedules of Port Norfolk
<br />buses and Port Norfolk and Pi~ers Point buses, between the hours of 8:30 and 10:40 in the
<br />ing and between l:OO and 4;30 in the afternoon.
<br /> The
<br /> period between buses on the Port Norfolk line wae within the
<br />schedule, fifteen minutes being the greatest interval. The period between buses on the Pinnere
<br />Point line was not so good. The schedule, as a rule, was maintained, but~it vamied from three
<br />minutes to forty-two minutes between buses. This, no doubt is causing confusion.~
<br />
<br />Mr. Howard asked thaZ check be made on some other day than Saturday.
<br />
<br /> 9th - ~Arrangements have been made to obtain sand from the S.A.L. Shops
<br />on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. This will be placed at High St. and Elm Ave., and at
<br />several of the fire stations, for public distribution."
