~arch 24th, 1942. <br /> <br /> Bill of JZ Shirley Hope, State Game Warden, for destroying sixty one tagless <br />dogs at $2~50 each, tot.~ling $152.50~ was presented, and on motion of Mr. Lawrence, the Treas- <br />urer was authorized to pay same from funds in her hands from collection of Dog Ts~es. <br /> <br /> Bill of Ers. S. W.-Adcock for ~ng fifteen chickens destroyed by dogs, <br />amounting ~o $15.O0~ was received. -- <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Howard~ the Treasurer was authorized to p&y same from collec- <br />tion of Dog Taxes. <br /> <br />The following letter was read and ordered filed: <br /> <br /> "The members of the Portsmouth Education A.s-se¢iat!on wish to exoress aporecia- <br />tion to you for the increase in salaries which the teachers received recently. ~hank you sin - <br />cerely, <br /> <br />Yours truly, <br /> <br />Louise Cla~ton, Secretary, <br />Portsmouth Education Association." <br /> <br /> Mr. Lawrence presented to the Council Nayor Leo G. ~illiamson of Williamsport, <br />Pa. mud Er.
