$ 22,7 P.oo
y3,5 .oe
16g,O~O;O0
$ b59,s .oo

On this basis, there will not be sufficient funds under the Docket to cover
the cost of all three Divisions. It will be necessary to omit a part of the work or obtain ad-
ditio~__~ funds
If the construction cOStS are to be. kept within the funds now available, it
i~ suggested that~'D~vielon "C" be omitted from the present construction program. The bid price
for Division "Aw and the estimated cost of Division "B" amounts to a total of $~95,834. OO which
is comfortably within the funds available.
The suction line extensions called for under Division "B" are necessary to
provide an outlet for a par~ of the vitrified olay sewers included under Dlvisi~u "A". The
length of the lines under Division "A" whlchdepends on the suction lines of Division "B" for
an outlet amours to about 40% the total lengths under Division "A".
We conferred with F.~.A. officials in Richmond yesterday and they approved
the award pending the arrival of the PreferenCe Rating which was referred to in the Meade Oon -
struction Oompany's letter. They immediately wired the War Production Board, Washington, re -
questing quick action on this and they are expecting a favorable reply in a few days.
