encee rating covering the materials for the fire station will be submitted to the War Production
Board for their consideration.
In view of the fact that the ~ar Production Board has granted oreferenceI
rati_~g for. two pumpers, as well as the aerial ladder truck, no difficulty is anticipated in se-t
curing oreference rating for the fire station.
Since this fire station is~signed to house the aerial ladder truck and
one pumper, it was necessary for t~_!s office to be assured that this equipment would be aoprov-!
ed prior to submitting the application for the station, as the disapprova~ of the aerial ~dde~
truck would have necessitated a reduction in the size of the fire station.
