<br /> (e) All concession rights (except advertising signs) are granted the high school

<br /> date may be extended to September 25t~h in the even~ of ~ League Play-off.
<br /> (g) There shall be paid into the %~easury of the City of PortsmoU~ out of the ath-
<br /> letic funds of ~he ~oodrow Wilson High School, or other funds designated by the ScDool autho -
<br /> tidies, the sttm of $1,200. per annum, before the end of the official school yearJ
<br /> (h) %-;oodro~? Wilson High School may not sublet the s~a~ium for the promotion~ inter~
<br /> scholastic, coll~ge, or other athletic events or promotional ventures of any description.
<br />
<br /> 3- Professional Football When the stadium is engaged for as mmuy as ten days during
<br />one s~ason, the charge for professionsl football shall be at the rate of $75.OO per day, and
<br />the privilege of five ~ays for praQtice purposes shall be allowed, without further charge.
<br /> The City reserves the right~ in the event the income at the gates on ~uy one or more
<br />of these ten days should exceed $300. to collect twenty per cent of the receipts over that
<br />amount ($300.00) plus its.$75.00 per day.
<br />
<br /> 4. Single Engagements If the ~adium is rented for college football, single engage
<br />merits of professional baseball, single engagemenZs of semi-professional baseball, single en -
<br />gagements of professional or semi~professional~ football, or any other athletic event, includir~l
<br />pr6motional ventures of any description, the charge shall be at the rate of $!OO. OO per day,
<br />plus twenty per cen~ of the receipts over $500.00.
<br />
<br /> 5- For any other local event of any type, where ~_n admission is charoe~, there shall
<br />be a minimum charge of $25.00 per day. In the event that the total ~ate is over $250.00, the
<br />City ~hall have s~u option ~of ten per cent on the total gate receipts, over $250.O6, plus its
<br />$25.00 ~u~rantee.
<br />
<br /> 6. If the stadium is used for fcotball games ofinter-scholastic standing, o~h~r than
<br />the ~o6drow Wilson High School, the charge for such usage shall be $25.00 per day. In t~he
<br />event ~the total gate receipts exceed $250.DO, the City is to receive ten per cent of the total
<br />receipts, plus its guarantee of $2~5.OO per day.

<br /> ?. Lighting. If the stadium lights ar~ used for any event of whatever nature or pur-
<br />pose, there shall be a charge of $.5.00 per hour or fraction thereof.
<br />
<br /> There is provided a fifteen minute period of grace, where the event is beg~n at
<br /> least fifteen minutes before and is completed within the hour Period.
<br />
<br /> Charges fbr the lights shall be in addition to all other charges and rates herein
<br />provided, and shall at no time be remi%ted or re_un&es. The Tield lights Sl~all not be used
<br />after 12:OO midnight.
<br />
<br /> 8. The payment of ren~s, fees, cD~rges of any type, for the use of the staditum, shall
<br />be made- in advance, excep~ by the High School, an~ aZ no time are any of these charges to be
<br />remitted or refunded.
<br />
<br /> 9. Prohibited Uses - No circus, carnival or entertainment of like nature shall be Der-
<br /> misted to use the stadium, nor she'll any other use be'made of it which will materially injure
<br /> the property of the baseball and football fields.
<br /> IO. The stadium shall not be used for any event except that for which it was engaged,
<br /> ~ud it may not be. sublet. The City Manager shall be permitted to change engagements when the
<br /> same does not conflict w~th prior rentals.

<br /> ll.- Baseball Concessions smd Advertising Ri~ghts to Competitive bid&ers.

<br /> The City of Portsmou*2~ offers to competitive bidders,the following rights and orivi-
<br /> the Portsmouth Stadium, exclusively for baseball purposes, from March 15th to Septem-
<br /> championship,

<br />bet 15th of each year. Exceptions are granted in the event of a Pla~-off for
<br />for which the specified time not to exceed ten days is allowed.

<br /> ~w~ The City offers to the highest bidder the following privileges:

<br />b~ ~esfo~tthe~lessee under this Contract.

<br /> B. Tb~ City of ~ortsmouth agrees to maintain the park, ~_th all of its facilities
<br />and replace any losseause~by~normal wear, breakage or replacement. The lessees mustreplace
<br />any loss due ~o negligenoe or carelessness on their par~, or the part of their, agents.
<br /> 0. The rights of all concessions, including advertising signs, from March !Sth
