<br />cotcred people located at the cornerof Ghesthut and Race Sts. and he conveyed to the Govern.-
<br />men~ certain land. and the Governmen~ depesitedtn-co~rt-the sum of $1OO. OO forthe
<br />by the Bankers Fire Insurance Oompany, upQn ~ich ta~es we~ owing since1930 amounting to
<br />$305.61 as of December 19~l. This amountincluded principal, Interest, penalty and advertise-

<br /> The Government has agreed to increase the amount to $250.00 and
<br />toapply the amount to taxes due upon ~heland. A stipulation ~ this.effect is included and I
<br />believe ~hat the Ci~y should agree to accept the sum of $250.00 and relieve the. City .Collector
<br />from c~llecting any taxes remaining unpaid after that amount~has been applied by him on the
<br />taxes due.~ I the~eforerequest that the proper, effice~ of the ~l~y be authorized to sign the
<br />at~ached stipulation. The land has been taken oy the ~overnmen~ under its power c~ eminent
