<br /> 13 - "We have designated the month of Mayas "Clean Up Month" for the City
<br />of Portsmouth, end sincerely trust ~hat all of the officials o~ ~he City of Portsmouth,
<br />merchants and all citizens will join in an attempt to clean up our City.
<br /> With the limitstion of manpower, we mus~ all be tolerant,~ yet each individuai
<br />must assume a certain amounz of responsibility to make our City cleaner and a better place'
<br />in ~ich to live."

<br /> 15 - An appropriation of $7,365.OO for a storm drsin on Kirn Avenue and Nicholson
<br />and Van Buren Btreets, laid on the table at tile last meeting, was taken up.
